Местное титульное население достаточно ревностно относится к любым формам интеграции: будь то "парковка" судов ВМФ РФ или разрешение покупки земель для иностранных граждан (то есть для граждан России). В мае прошлого года местные оппозиционеры даже устраивали в Сухуме митинг против "заселения Абхазии иностранцами " и против "раздачи абхазских земель".
Другое дело — неабхазское население, которого в республике около 50 процентов. Они не имеют абхазских "привилегий" и могут с легкостью стать жертвой разбоя и рэкета со стороны республиканского национального большинства, без особых последствий для последних. Так один мой армянский собеседник, потерявший половину своего участка, очень ждёт интеграции республики в РФ, так как для него Россия является надеждой на наличие хоть какого-то правового поля. Вот такая вот ирония.

Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
