Китайская CRRC приступила к опытной эксплуатации водородного локомотива мощностью 1000 кВт для Чили

Маневровая машина начала эксплуатироваться в Чанчжоу. Заказ на нее в ноябре 2022 года сделала узкоколейная железная дорога FCAB, связывающая порт Антофагаста с горнодобывающими предприятиями Боливии.

Тяга локомотива обеспечивается блоком водородных топливных элементов мощностью 400 кВт и аккумуляторными батареями мощностью 600 кВт. Заявляется, что он может перевозить составы массой 1 тыс. т на расстояние около 400 км. Также подвижной состав оборудован системой обнаружения газов и автоматического отключения подачи газа.

Запуск в коммерческую эксплуатацию ожидается во второй половине 2024 года. Поставка осуществляется в рамках планов перевозчика полностью отказаться от тепловозной тяги: сейчас FCAB эксплуатирует 83 американских тепловоза EMD и GE.

Ранее в 2021 году CRRC представила свой первый водородно-аккумуляторный маневровый локомотив мощностью 700 кВт.
