«Синара - Транспортные Машины» (СТМ) реализует концессионный проект в Таганроге с 2021 года при поддержке ВЭБ.РФ. Он является первым в России подобным проектом по комплексной модернизации всей трамвайной сети города (о его работе – в официальном телеграм-канале). Валентина Матвиенко отметила его масштабность – реконструкция 45,5 км путей, закупка 50 трамваев, 102 остановки, современное и автоматизированное депо, новая схема управления движением городского транспорта и др. «Благодарность бесконечная», – восхитилась она.
Матвиенко указала, что эффективность проекта – пример того, когда взаимодействуют власть и бизнес, а также определены четкие экономические и инвестиционные условия государственно-частного партнерства.
