Новый состав поезда ЭС2Г привезли ещё в конце января. Поезд проверили и пустили на светлогорское направление. Он стал 11-м, в числе курсирующих по Калининградской области "Ласточек".
Из всех железнодорожных направлений эксклава зеленоградское и светлогорское в 2024 году сконцентрировало 89% пассажиров. Поэтому новый поезд должен улучшить качество обслуживания этой части магистрали.
