В 2021 году количество зафиксированных в России случаев высокого и экстремально высокого загрязнения воздуха увеличилось на 23%, всего за год в стране было отмечено 406 таких инцидентов. Авторы исследования отмечают, что с 2011 года количество таких случаев выросло в шесть раз.
Чаще всего масштабные выбросы в атмосферу фиксировались в: ▪️ Красноярском крае ▪️Самарской области ▪️Оренбургской области ▪️Иркутской области ▪️Бурятии
