Обновленное мобильное приложение государственной информационной системы ЖКХ планируется запустить в сентябре. Сейчас его «пилотируют» в трех регионах РФ, среди них два из Уральского федерального округа — Челябинская область и ХМАО. Через приложение будет возможно, например, оплатить жилищно-коммунальные услуги. Приложение ГИС ЖКХ уже доступно для скачивания, однако ряд сервисов в нем пока остается недоступным. В перспективе через приложение можно будет подавать показания приборов учета, получить прямое взаимодействие с управляющей компанией, также будет доступен сервис проведения голосования собственников жилья.
