Нижняя палата Конгресса США проголосовала за законопроект, разработанный в результате сделки республиканцев с демократами.
Законопроект включает снижение расходов, которое категорически не устраивало демократов, но большинство критиков документа собралось в республиканской партии. В итоге за закон проголосовали 314 членов Палаты представителей — 149 «красных» и 165 «синих».
Теперь осталось провести закон через Сенат и отдать его на подпись Байдену. Сомневаться, что молодой и полный сил лидер демократов с удовольствием возьмёт ещё немного денег в счёт будущих поколений, не приходится.
