Спустя долгое время, снова побывал в Святой Софии.

Когда был в предыдущий раз, то был музей, сейчас - мечеть.

Доступ для туристов - только на второй этаж, в галерею. Проход - 1 тыс. лир или около 2500 рублей.

Доступ на 1й этаж - только для молящихся мусульман.

Без сомнения - великое строение, несущее на себе печать многих сотен лет истории.

Истории - очень сложной и противоречивой.

С такими же сложными и противоречивыми чувствами из Святой Софии, после посещения, и выходишь.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
