32-я Летняя конференция Турнира городов ПЕРЕНОСИТСЯ НА ЗИМУ 2020-2021 в связи с пандемией COVID-19. Конференция состоится в России в декабре или январе, сроки и место проведения уточняются. Участники будут приглашены по результатам тех олимпиад, которые были проведены. Критерии приглашения и список приглашённых скоро будут опубликованы на странице конференции.
Некоторые проекты (циклы задач) конференции мы планируем сделать с предварительной частью, которую желательно будет проработать дома. Подробно об этом мы напишем в начале августа.

The 32nd Summer Conference of the Tournament of Towns is POSTPONED TO WINTER 2020-2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Conference is intended to be held in Russia in December or January, the dates and location are being specified. The invitation criteria and the list of participants are to be published soon at the website of the SC.
We plan to make some projects of the Conference with a preliminary part which is desirable to work out at home. We will write more about it in early August.

Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. But because group chats and the channel features are not end-to-end encrypted, Galperin said user privacy is potentially under threat. "He has to start being more proactive and to find a real solution to this situation, not stay in standby without interfering. It's a very irresponsible position from the owner of Telegram," she said. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
