Жюри приступило к проверке работ, результаты центральной проверки появятся ориентировочно в декабре, точнее мы напишем на сайте через некоторое время.
Также стали известны предварительные даты весеннего тура: он запланирован на 28 февраля (базовый) и 14 марта (сложный) 2021 года.

The Fall round of the 42nd Tournament of Towns took place in October. The geography of the Tournament continues to expand despite the pandemic! Thanks to everyone who took part (offline or online) during this difficult time!
The jury has started marking the papers, the results of the Central marking will appear approximately in December, more precise information is to be published on our website.
Preliminary dates for the Spring round are also announced: it is scheduled for February 28 (O-level) and March 14 (A-level), 2021.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections.
