По информации СМИ, решение было принято в ноябре 2024 года и пока не афишировалось. Погосян будет курировать гражданские проекты УЗГА и решать вопросы финансирования, кроме того, от завода ожидается более четкое разделение на военные и гражданские направления.
Ранее совет директоров УЗГА в течение 14 лет возглавлял Вадим Бадеха, который с ноября 2024 года руководит Объединенной авиастроительной корпорацией (ОАК) и ПАО «Яковлев».
