Прекрасная возможность еще раз порекомендовать одного из лучших писателей современности — Теда Чана, пару дней назад получившего премию PEN/Bernard and Ann Malamud Award, которую присуждают за литературное мастерство в жанре короткой прозы. Среди прошлых лауреатов много имен, почти никому не известных, ибо короткий рассказ — жанр крайне непопулярный, тем более ценно то, что Тед Чан даже в его рамках стал легендой при жизни (а по рассказу "История твоей жизни" сняли оскароносный голливудский блокбастер "Прибытие").

К чтению изо всех сил рекомендую оба его сборника, последовательность чтения — на ваше усмотрение.
