В 2023 году под лозунгом «Отстаем по десоветизации» Жогорку Кенеш Киргизии предпринял вторую попытку принятия дополнений к закону «О правах и гарантиях реабилитированных граждан, пострадавших в результате репрессий за политические и религиозные убеждения, по социальным, национальным и другим признакам». На этот раз намерения борцов по возведению террористов (и по прошлым, и по нынешним понятиям), вредителей и расхитителей народной собственности 1920-1950-х годов в разряд героев нации сбылись – накануне 2025 года президент страны Садыр Жапаров законопроект подписал.
С этим решением республика приступает к главной стадии перекройки собственной истории, которая, как предполагается, откроет путь к «подлинному возрождению». Основой для этого станут деколонизация и десоветизация всех сторон жизни киргизского общества. Читать далее

Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp.
