Ученые Института цитологии и генетики Сибирского отделения РАН и НИИ нейронаук и медицины обнаружили, что злаки с большим количеством антоцианов могут снижать объемы опухолей и число метастазов при раке легких.
Пшеница, которая содержит пигмент антоциан синего или фиолетового цвета, могла бы значительно сократить смертность от злокачественных образований, считают исследователи.
Ученые провели исследование на мышах, рожденных и выращенных в виварии. Грызунам вводили клетки карциномы легкого Льюиса, а одной из групп давали зерна пшеницы, обогащенные антоцианами. Процент мышей с метастазами был ниже среди тех животных, которых кормили фиолетовыми злаками.
