Веселовский родился в Мурманске, однако карьеру полицейского сделал вне региона. До назначения в Заполярье, полковник Алексей Веселовский служил в Чувашии.
Отмечу, что назначение Веселовского с восторгом встречено в прогубернаторской ТГ-сетке, одновременно принизив заслуги предшественников.
