Эмомали Рахмон выразил благодарность эмиру Катара Шейху Тамимому бин Хамадом Аль Тани за его вклад в строительство Центральной соборной мечети в Душанбе.

Справочно:
🕌 Первый камень был заложен еще в октябре 2009 года. В 2019-м завершили строительство, но открытие долго откладывали.

🕌 Территория мечети также вмещает в себя помещения для намаза, библиотеку, музей, залы для заседаний и приема гостей.

🕌 Религиозный объект был построен на двусторонние инвестиции: 70% со стороны Катара, 30% – Таджикистана.

🕌 Мечеть хотят назвать именем «Имама Аъзама – Абу Ханифы Нуъмона ибни Собита».

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. Update March 8, 2022: EFF has clarified that Channels and Groups are not fully encrypted, end-to-end, updated our post to link to Telegram’s FAQ for Cloud and Secret chats, updated to clarify that auto-delete is available for group and channel admins, and added some additional links. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion.
