كنت أبحثُ عن شيء يتعلّق بمدينة نيقية (إزنيق) في عصر الأمويين، وهي واحدة من أبعد المُدن التي وصلت إليها الغزوات العربية الإسلامية في ذلك العصر، وكنتُ أتعجب من جلَدهم وصبرهم حتى يبلغوا عمق أراضي العدو وبُعدهم عن ديارهم في العراق والشام إلى هذا الحد العجيب.
وكان من أغرب ما قرأته أن تابعيّا من رجال الحديث اسمه رُزيق بن حيّان الفَزاري شارك في هذه الغزوة وعُمره ثمانون عاما، كان كما يصفه أبو زرعة الدمشقي في تاريخه "من خيار أهل الشام"، أصابه سهم واستُشهد على إثره ودُفن هنالك!
رجل تابعي محدّث .. عُمره ثمانون عاما .. بلغ من السّن عتيّا .. لم يركن للعلم فقط، ثم تحمّل على نفسه، وشارك لنشر الإسلام، ونال الشهادة في مدينة تقع اليوم على بحر مرمرة في أقصى غرب الأناضول في قلب الروم!
اللهم إنا نسألك أن تجعله من أهل الفردوس الأعلى مع محمد صلى الله عليه وأصحابه، وأن تُلحقنا بهم على خير وفي خير.

The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
