در این اوضاع، بازاریان شریف که حاضر نیستند بار گرانی بیشتر را بر دوش مردم بگذارند، با اعتصاب و تعطیلی کسب و کار، صدای اعتراض خود را به گوش همگان رسانده‌اند. هم‌زمان، بازنشستگان فولاد، معدن، مخابرات، آموزش و پرورش، تأمین اجتماعی، پرستاران و کارکنان بخش درمان، و کارگران بخش‌های انرژی و پتروشیمی نیز برای احقاق حقوق پایمال‌شده خود به اعتراض برخاسته‌اند.
همان‌گونه که همیشه توصیه کرده‌ام، اعتصابات و نافرمانی‌های مدنی، در کنار اعتراضات خیابانی راهی مؤثر برای به زانو در آوردن این رژیم است. در همین راستا، از همه هم‌میهنان می‌خواهم که فراتر از خواسته‌های صنفی، پشتیبان و حامی اعتراضات یکدیگر باشند. با همبستگی و اتحاد همه اقشار ملت ایران است که می‌توان به هدف بزرگ‌تر که آزادی و نجات ایران است، دست یافت.
