[6:10] ...Чехи, по счастью, не отнеслись столь пассивным образом к чуждым их народному характеру началам, старались сбросить с себя иго их; и только эти самостоятельные порывы Чехов, эти «противугерманские, антиевропейские» подвиги, каковыми их Европа считала и считает (как то – религиозная реформа на православный лад и борьба из-за неё с Европой во времена Гуса и Жижки, и начатое ими в наше столетие панславистское движение), могут и должны считаться всемирно-историческими подвигами чешского народа, его заветом потомству. В европейском или германо-романском духе и направлении – Чехи были столь же бесплодны, как и Поляки. Нужно ли добавлять, что то же самое относится и к России?

Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. Following this, Sebi, in an order passed in January 2022, established that the administrators of a Telegram channel having a large subscriber base enticed the subscribers to act upon recommendations that were circulated by those administrators on the channel, leading to significant price and volume impact in various scrips. The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
