51-летняя жительница Набережных Челнов стала жертвой мошенников, которые взломали аккаунт ее знакомой в мессенджере и попросили в долг от ее имени. Об этом сообщили в МВД по РТ.
Женщина получила сообщение с просьбой срочно перевести деньги, и, не подозревая подвоха, отправила 20 тысяч рублей. Позже выяснилось, что переписка велась не с настоящей подругой, а с злоумышленниками, использовавшими ее взломанный профиль.
По факту мошенничества возбуждено уголовное дело по статье 159 ч.2 УК РФ. Полицейские ведут оперативно-розыскные мероприятия для установления личностей преступников.

"There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so).
