TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said. "Your messages about the movement of the enemy through the official chatbot … bring new trophies every day," the government agency tweeted. Under the Sebi Act, the regulator has the power to carry out search and seizure of books, registers, documents including electronics and digital devices from any person associated with the securities market.
