Бездействие, проволочки, соглашательство и прямое потакание застройщикам со стороны региональных властей на фоне заявлений о сохранении старого города привели к началу лавинообразных сносов – неутвержденный список ЦГФО, состоящий из 645 объектов, тщательно отобранных согласительной комиссией с участием регионального отделения ВООПИК, стремительно редеет. Так, за период с 2019 г. по настоящее время в городе снесено более 40 исторических зданий. В августе 2023 года снесен Рабочий городок, в состав которого входили 3 ценных градоформирующих объекта. До конца 2023 года запланирован снос еще не менее 8 ЦГФО (Красноармейская д.11, Галактионовская д.86, Венцека д.12-14, д.18 и др.)

To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said.
