По данным НОРАД, из канадского региона NORAD были подняты в воздух два канадских истребителя CF-18 и один самолет-заправщик, а из аляскинского региона НОРАД — два американских истребителя F-35 и два самолета-заправщика.
С базы на Аляске также был отправлен один самолет дальнего радиолокационного обнаружения и управления (AWAC) E-3, который, по словам ВВС, «может обнаруживать, идентифицировать и отслеживать» силы противника вдали от границ США и стран НАТО.
