В Ростове-на-Дону в ночь на 7 января состоялось торжественное богослужение в честь Рождества.

Прошло всё в Кафедральном соборе Рождества Пресвятой Богородицы. Богослужение провел митрополит Ростовский и Новочеркасский Меркурий. Он поздравил собравшихся с праздником.

«Бог снизошел до человеческой природы, чтобы возвысить ее, пораженную грехом, до высот Божественного», — сказал глава Донской митрополии.
