Реализация механизма концессии в регионе позволит изменить не только коммунальную и транспортную инфраструктуру, но и систему обращения с отходами. Строительство экотехнопарка для трех пригородных муниципалитетов рядом с областным центром - единственный приемлемый вариант после закрытия уже переполненного полигона "Центролит".
Новые требования к инфраструктуре обращения с мусором предполагают полную сортировку 100% объема отходов. При этом утилизации подлежит лишь половина мусорного потока. Остальное будет переработано в качестве вторичного сырья.
Общая стоимость экотехнопарка составит 3,4 млрд рублей, однако пока - в рамках первой его очереди - вложат 2,6 млрд. Строительство второй очереди планируется на 2037 год.
