И это одна из причин, почему он меня интересует: мне очень нравится воссоздавать его на сцене… Если удалить со сцены всех, включая Эльзу и Генриха, все равно будет, о чем рассказать. Но когда в сюжете есть линия войны, сосуществования брабантцев и саксонцев, обвинения Тельрамунда, любовная линия, все становится гораздо сложнее. Работа над спектаклем оказывается сродни архитектуре», – режиссер-постановщик спектакля Франсуа Жирар.
