Работы по сбору мазута у танкера «Волгонефть-239» ведутся круглосуточно, сообщили в Минтрансе.

С баржи «Пикник» собрали около 48 кубометров нефтеводяной смеси. Отходы грузят в контейнер для мусора и передают на берег для утилизации. Радужные пятна сотрудники Морспасслужбы обрабатывают биосорбентом. Чтобы ограничить место разлива, вокруг затонувшей баржи установили дополнительные боновые заграждения.

Мазут также собирают вручную с берега. Всего собрали около 2,6 тонн нефтесодержащих отходов.

В районе мыса Панагия работает 38 спасателей Морспасслужбы.
