Вчера, 22 сентября, состоялась наша ежевоскресная акция против войны в Украине и путинского режима. Как всегда, нам удалось написать пару писем политзаключенным.

В этот раз нашу акцию снимало португальское телевидение - канал RTP! Журналисты взяли у нас интервью об отношении к войне и тоталитарному режиму в России.

Мы отдельно рассказали о том, кто такие российские политзаключенные, которым мы пишем письма, а самое главное - как просто стать в России политзаключенным.

Не обошлось и без анекдота: мимо нас проходили наши пропутинские сограждане, шипя: они позорят свою страну!.. Все в лучших традициях заголовков советских газет.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup.
