В этот день люди сделали шаг в холодные объятия Антарктиды. Это случилось в 1820 году. Русские мореплаватели Фаддей Беллинсгаузен и Михаил Лазарев не просто открыли континент, но и показали всем ещё один неисследованный край планеты!

А что было дальше? 👀

Спустя 75 лет, 23 января 1895 года, норвежцы решили повторить трюк. Капитан «Антарктика» Леонард Кристенсен и его друг Карлстен Борхгревинк не испугались сложностей и вышли с миссией — «увидеть всё глазами».

И вот мы здесь! Алексей Ситников вновь на этих заснеженных берегах. Вместе с группой на шхуне Amazone они путешествуют по окрестностям Антарктиды спустя 205 лет с момента открытия.

The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users.
