The IDF attacked Houthi targets in Yemen last night.

Around 2:30 a.m., a Houthi missile was launched toward Israel. Sirens were activated in the center of the country. The missile was intercepted, but fragments from the interceptor hit an empty school building in Ramat Efal, causing significant damage.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m., Arab media outlets reported a widespread IDF attack in Yemen on the following targets:

1. The Haziz central power station in the north of the capital, Sana'a.

2. The D'Habban Central Power Station in the south of the capital, Sanaa.

3. The oil facility in Ras Issa, Hodeidah province.

4. Hodeidah Port.

Following the attacks, 9 deaths and 3 injuries were reported among the workers at the Ras Issa oil facility.
Extensive power outages were also reported in Sana'a and Hodeidah.

##
The the attacks were likely planned weeks in advance. The timing of the launch of the ballistic missile by the Houthis before the attacks/in close proximity to them is, to say the least, interesting.

Such instructions could actually endanger people — citizens receive air strike warnings via smartphone alerts. DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number. "Your messages about the movement of the enemy through the official chatbot … bring new trophies every day," the government agency tweeted.
