На эту работу меня вдохновила одна из фотографий отдыха семьи Ильиных, где девочка копается в полосе прилива. Для меня эта фотография стала отражением репрессивного, ведь для этой семьи возвращение и беззаботность отдыха из начала 30-х годов было возможностью отрешиться от репрессивного конца 30-х. Собственно, отдых был тем отливом Репрессии, а 1937 год приливом»
