Напомним, что 21 сентября Малков отправил в отставку весь состав регионального правительства. Глава региона «избирательно» подходил к формированию. После ухода в отставку правительства, Новиков стал и.о. министра. Удивительно, что он смог в итоге сохранить за собой пост главы министерства природы.
Отметим, что Александр Новиков отучился в Рязанском филиале военного университета связи. До 2011 года он служил в ВС РФ. А назначен главой регионального минприроды в 2020 году.
Новиков, конечно, так себе кандидатура на пост министра природы. Вспомнить только все проблемы с лесными пожарами и экологией. Казалось, что глава региона Павел Малков найдет кого-то из своего круга варягов, но видимо лучше кандидата, чем Новиков так и не нашлось.
