Монумент высотой более 15 метров — огромный батыр, восседающий на коне и по бокам две фигуры львов на постаментах — был установлен рядом с трассой, ведущей в Ташкент.
Возвели памятник 10 лет назад на средства спонсора, пожелавшего остаться инкогнито. А вот теперь глыбу снесли.
Напомним, Алпамыс батыр — это центральный персонаж одноименного эпоса тюркских народов.
Эпос, к слову, уже отметил свое 1000-летие, и давно вошёл в школьную программу по литературе.
