Єгипетська оранжерея була збудована у 1825 році італійським архітектором Франческо Марією Ланчі.
У 1960-х роках тут розмістився культурний центр «Конек» і єгипетська кав’ярня, яка працювала до 2022 року. Після цього оранжерея стояла закинутою.

Реновація пам’ятки розпочалася навесні 2024 року і триватиме до вересня 2025 року. Після завершення «Єгипетська оранжерея» стане дитячим садком для дітей з обмеженими можливостями, розрахованим на 100 осіб.

The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war.
