Вот такие раки из вод Папуа Новой Гвинеи – знакомы ли вам? Уже более 20 лет они обитают в аквариумах у людей, и некоторые говорят, нам рыбок не надо, давайте вот такого с клешнями. Само собой, питомцы надоедают, и такие раки начинают попадаться в естественных водоемах в Европе (а может, и у нас), куда их просто сливают (вот тут, конечно, осуждаем решительно)..
Биологи из Чехии посмотрели на раков… и поняли, что вид-то не описан, нет такого в науке. И теперь описали, дали ему латинское имя, настрочили статью, где и как он живет, и какое место занимает на эволюционном дереве.
То есть вот так: не надо в пампасы ездить, в снегах мерзнуть, новые виды прячутся прямо под носом, в зоомагазине.
