В ответ на обращение жителей, администрация Приозерского района, возглавляемая Александром Соклаковым, заявила, что не несет ответственности за содержание данного объекта и не обладает информацией о его текущем местонахождении. Памятник был установлен четвертого июня 2019 года на основании соглашения между Российской Федерацией и Финляндией.
