К месту поиска из сел Мильково и Оссоры были направлены два вертолета Ми-8 Камчатского авиапредприятия со спасателями Камчатской региональной поисково-спасательной базы, но в связи с плохими погодными условиями оба воздушных судна были вынуждены вернуться обратно. 21 декабря поисковая операция будет продолжена.
