4 сентября 2024 г. в Москве представили проект памятника «Космос – для человека», посвященного учёным, открывшим путь в космос.

Презентация состоялась на площади Академика Келдыша в Юго-западном административном округе, где планируется установка памятника. Здесь также была открыта фотовыставка «Наука в улицах и лицах», рассказывающая о начале космической эры в нашей стране и о людях, которые прокладывали путь в космос, — в первую очередь о «Главном теоретике» космонавтики академике М. В. Келдыше.
