В Минске завершился XXI международный турнир по боксу памяти Героя Советского Союза Виктора Ливенцева. В соревнованиях в этом году выступили 80 спортсменов из десяти стран мира.

- У нас были представлены Абхазия, Азербайджан, Венгрия, Конго, Кыргызстан, Россия, Туркменистан, Узбекистан, Республика Беларусь, Казахстан, - пояснили организаторы.

В составе сборной команды России в ринг вышел мастер спорта из Невельска Денис Пальшин. Воспитанник тренера Виктора Денисова выступал в весовой категории до 54 кг.

Одержав несколько побед, сахалинец пробился в финал. В решающем бою он нанес поражение Денису Солоцкому из Беларуси (4:1) и стал победителем международного турнира.
