В твиттере зацепил тред о раннем интернете – как это ощущалось, когда всё только начиналось. У меня первый интернет появился в 2001 году – и я до сих пор помню странное ощущение незаполненности пространства, его узости. Помню, что через пару-тройку месяцев активного сидения я почувствовал, что видел вообще всё – посетил все сайты, зарегистрировался на всех форумах, посмотрел все ролики, скачал все картинки.

В жизни редко испытываю сожалению о чём-либо – но о своей инертности в те годы жалею страшно: идей и мыслей было очень много, но ничего не стал развивать.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments.
