Московский Электрозавод им. В.В.Куйбышева

Московский Электрозавод им. В.В.Куйбышева был построен в 1928 году по решению Государственного электротехнического треста для обеспечения выполнения ленинского плана ГОЭЛРО. В годы Великой Отечественной войны на заводе выпускали снаряды для минометов «Катюша», трансформаторы, ремонтировали танки Т-34. Электрозаводцы составили ядро дивизии народного ополчения Куйбышевского района Москвы. В честь Электрозавода названы станция метро (1944) и мост через Яузу (1954). Индустриальный комплекс на Электрозаводской улице составили три предприятия: Московский электроламповый завод (МЭЛЗ), Электрозавод им. В.В.Куйбышева и АТЭ-1. За свою многолетнюю историю первоначальный облик здания Электрозавода изменился. Завод «подрос» на один этаж.
