📜Сегодня публикую совсем коротенький кусочек - отрывок из The Big Bang Theory где Леонард, Шелдон, Пенни и Эми играют в Pictionary. Одна из моих любимых сцен, прежде всего потому, что это ну очень смешно.
🤩 Мое самое любимое - If you want someone to guess a chocolate -chip cookie you draw a glass of milk next to it - Penny got it - Only after I eliminated all the obvious answers! И, конечно, Casper, the alcoholic ghost.
Я как то использовала этот отрывок когда мы изучали артикли, чтобы проиллюстрировать мысль, что артикли имеют значение ( a present vs the present).
Еще это отличный пример того, как трудно понять что в голове у другого человека, а также что такое overthinking it 🙂. Вообще мне кажется у этого отрывка есть потенциал для использования на каких-нибудь тренинговых курсах, про взаимодействие в команде и поиск нестандартных решений, например.

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. And while money initially moved into stocks in the morning, capital moved out of safe-haven assets.
