Ветеранов блокадного Ленинграда встретили в Сретенской обители братия и студенты Академии
📆 В Крещенский сочельник, 18 января 2025 года, в московском Сретенском монастыре состоялась торжественная встреча, посвященная 82-й годовщине прорыва фашистской блокады Ленинграда и 81-й годовщине полного освобождения Ленинграда от фашистской блокады, участниками которого стали ветераны и блокадники.
⛪️ В древнем соборе Сретения Владимирской иконы Божией Матери состоялась заупокойная лития в память погибших защитников и жителей города-героя, пережившего 872 дня страшной блокады.
На трапезе для гостей обители прозвучали музыкальные произведения в исполнении хора Сретенского монастыря под руководством А. Полторухина и хора Сретенской духовной академии под управлением М. Качанкина: «Вечерняя песня», «Враги сожгли родную хату…», «Ах ты, степь широкая», «Не для меня придет весна…», «Вот полк пошел…», «Песня о тревожной молодости», «Надежда», «Конь», «Этот мир придуман не нами», «Дороги», «Катюша», «Когда мы были на войне».

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. In December 2021, Sebi officials had conducted a search and seizure operation at the premises of certain persons carrying out similar manipulative activities through Telegram channels. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee.
