От немцев мне угроз ни разу не поступало, так что с выражением я знакома не была) Оказалось, что jemandem die Ohren langziehen — это кого-то наказывать.
Сказала, что по-русски уши отрывают. Мой собеседник, кажется, совсем не удивился.
Я тут же к слову вспомнила, что в молодежных романах часто используется выражение bis zum Hals in der Scheiße stecken — быть по горло в дерьме, и гордо отметила, что у нас вот если уж и оказался в дерьме, так по уши)
Мне на это ответили, что у них зато можно bis über beide Ohren in Arbeit stecken (по оба уха в работе). А у нас тут наоборот, дел чаще «по горло», чем «по уши».
