Немцы знамениты тем, что порой не указывают источник при цитировании, и уж тем более не заморачиваются упомянуть человека, в чьем переводе на немецкий приводится цитата.
Так что вчера мне сначала пришлось выяснять, откуда вообще цитата, а потом искать русскоговорящее сообщество индеанистов и просить у них книгу. Ответили в течение десяти минут (и это в пятницу вечером!) Восхищаюсь энтузиастами узкоспециализированных тем)
