В общей сложности на XVII летних Паралимпийских играх саратовские спортсмены завоевали 2 медали (серебряную и бронзовую), на Чемпионате Европы по плаванию – 1 серебряную медаль. В числе призеров – Денис Тарасов и Маляк Алиева, которых подготовили Светлана Борисовская и Николай Кирпичников.
Так, за две серебряные медали (XVII летних Паралимпийских игр и Чемпионата Европы по плаванию) Денис Тарасов получит 1,4 млн рублей. Его наставник Светлана Борисовская - 700 тысяч рублей.
Маляк Алиева и тренер Николай Кирпичников за бронзу XVII летних Паралимпийских игр – 1 млн и 500 тысяч рублей соответственно.
