Против Никиты Журавеля возбудили уголовное дело по статье о госизмене. Ранее он уже был осуждён на 3,5 года колонии за сожжение Корана.
По версии следствия, Журавель «посредством мессенджера инициативно предложил сотрудничество представителю службы безопасности Украины». Как поясняется на сайте Генпрокуратуры, в марте 2023 года Журавель отправил ему «видеозаписи железнодорожного состава, перевозившего военную технику ВС РФ, самолетов военного назначения, а также данные о передвижении служебного автомобиля одной из воинских частей».
