Лучшим изображением дикой природы в 2024 году признана фотография с застрявшей в дупле белкой. Сделал снимок фотограф из Италии Милко Маркетти. Всего на конкурс было подано более 9 тысяч заявок от участников из 98 стран.

Премия Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards зародилась в Восточной Африке в 2015 году. Фотограф MBE Пол Джойнсон-Хикс просматривал свои фотографии животных, когда наткнулся на несколько, которые заставили его громко расхохотаться. Пол понял, что юмор этих фотографий, это одновременно и развлечение, и средство привлечь внимание людей к угрозам, с которыми сталкиваются те же самые животные. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
