Захватчик домена Yandex.tv потребовал от арбитража WIPO выкупить домен, а не то он засудит арбитраж

Всемирная организация по интеллектуальным правам (WIPO) запросила описание ситуации с доменом со стороны заявителя (компании "Яндекс") и получила понятное описание: домен есть, он не используется много лет, совпадает с названием Yandex, просил передать домен "Яндексу"

Ответчик же прислал арбитражу WIPO требование выкупа домена и угрожал подачей иска в суд США, если у него отберут домен. Что арбитраж WIPO не впечатлило.

(The Respondent sent an email to the Center on March 10, 2024, offering to sell the disputed domain name
for a price to be negotiated, and stating that “but if my domain name is confiscated at will, I will file a lawsuit
in the US court to ensure my rights”. However, the Respondent did not submit any formal response).

В итоге, арбитраж WIPO постановил передать домен "Яндексу"
(правда, решение до сих пор не исполнено, возможно потому что регистратор Godaddy отказывается иметь дело с российскими сервисами)
