Апелляционные жалобы на решение Краснознаменского районного суда подали как прокуратура, так и сам Сытнюк и его защитник. В итоге, суд приговорил Сытнюка к 2 годам лишения свободы и лишен права занимать в государственных органах, органах местного самоуправления должности сроком на 2 года.
